House Rules
I hate to even include this section, but I suppose in order for 10 people to live together peacefully there has to be a couple of ground rules. In the spirit of Fire Island's minimalism, I will try to keep this as brief as possible!

Pet Policy Dogs love the beach too! Well-behaved, small dogs will be welcomed, but please schedule in advance with the house manager so that we can accomodate those with allergies or fears on alternate weekends. |

Smoking Policy Similar to New York's smoking policy, there will be no cigarette smoking indoors. We will provide ashtrays on the decks for your convenience. |

Alcohol Policy As we provide beer and wine as part of the meal plan, obviously alcohol is consumed in this summer share house. Please just remember to be respectful of your housemates. Hard drug use is not accepted. |

Midweek Policy We would like shareholders to take advantage of the house during the week within reason and when it is available. Shareholders will have the option to arrive at the house on the Monday before their weekends provided that they first schedule with the house manager. Please note that unscheduled visitors will not be admitted. All midweek visits will be offered on a first-come-first-serve basis with priority given to those whose weekend falls after the week in question. Holiday weeks such as July 4th should be scheduled early to ensure availability. |
