If you have already been to Fire Island and know of it's magic, then you can skip ahead to the prices, rules, and schedules. If you have not been to Fire Island, please indulge me and read a few more sentences. They say that once you visit Fire Island as a day tripper, you become a summer share holder, and once you become a summer share holder, you become a home owner. The lure is apparent as soon as you step foot on this amazing island. Former Hamptonites, Jersey shore goers, and Florida vacationers all appreciate the beauty of this narrow strip of land resting just below Long Island. Fire Island is sleep away camp for adults. Days spent with walkie talkies to communicate with your friends back in the house, flashlights to find your way home at night, house parties where everyone is included and welcomed, no cars, no distractions, and no worries. Simply the beauty of the sea, sand, and friends . If you choose not to spend the summer in our house...if it does not meet your needs or if your friends will be going elsewhere...please find another way to be on Fire Island this summer. You will never forget the experience.
